Commercial Recycling Program

Cheri James

Effective January 1, 2010, Secure Processors LLC became the operations control center for all the recycling efforts of the Agency.  This includes electronics recycling, traditional recycling (paper, cardboard, newspaper, magazines and #1 & #2 plastic), and confidential document shredding.  Since Secure Processors LLC became certified to ISO 14001:2004 standards, the zero landfill policy affects all areas of our recycling service.

Clay County Industries and Clay County Rehabilitation Center, Inc. provide recycling services to many businesses and industries in Flora, Louisville, and the surrounding counties.  CCI may provide the needed materials to recycle; bags, racks, toters, desk side containers, and also have vehicles and drivers to pick up the materials on a scheduled basis.  Clay County Industries recycles paper, cardboard, # 1 and #2 plastic, newspaper and magazines. Clay County Rehabilitation Center, Inc. has a customer drop-off center at 530 W. 4th street for materials listed above and aluminum cans may be brought to this location for donation.  CCR does not buy cans at this time.

Recycling hours are 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
